Textile impregnation (dipping, bonding)

Textile impregnation (dipping, bonding)

Textile impregnation is performed on the TOTEX impregnation line with an expansion frame with a high production capacity. The width of impregnated textiles can range from 60 to 160 cm. The surface weight of the processed materials is from 50 to 1000 g/m2. A wide range of water-dispersible polymers and preparations is used for impregnation. The offered technologies can be combined as required.

Stiffening and fixing treatments

With the technology of stiffening and fixing treatments, we provide textile materials with the improvement of useful processing properties in a wide range. The level of stiffening can range from light fixation that does not change the appearance of the fabric through flexible and tough to strong stiffening, where the fabric acquires rigid and hard properties. By stiffening, the textile can acquire the ability of thermoforming, or conversely heat resistance. We can also adjust the colour shade of the product at the same time. Examples of applications are reinforcing materials in footwear, haberdashery, clothing or in the manufacture of orthopedic aids. It is also used in the manufacture of various insulations and seals.

Conductive, antistatic treatments

By using conductive and antistatic treatment technology, we provide textile materials with the ability to conduct an electric charge at the level required by the customer. We perform the modification as a separate technology or as a part of the product construction technology so that our modifications do not create a layer with higher resistance in this construction. It is used, for example, in the rubber industry in the production of V-belts or conveyor belts or in the footwear industry in the production of antistatic insoles for safety footwear.

Modifications increasing the adhesion of subsequent coating

With the technology of modifications increasing adhesion, we ensure the improvement of utility and processing properties. These modifications create a bridge between the textile and the rubber compound applied by the customer in their rubber product. We modify textile materials from cotton fibres, polyester fibres (PES) and polyamide fibres (PA), as well as from mixed fibres for various types of rubbers and various types of vulcanization. During impregnation, the textile is also thermally stabilized. These textiles are typically used as structural layers in dynamically stressed products, thus improving the quality and durability of these products. Examples of applications are rubber conveyor belts, V-belts, tires, rubber pressure hoses, diaphragms, etc. We use technologies that do not endanger health and do not harm the environment.

Antimicrobial, fungicidal and repellent treatments

We use antimicrobial, fungicidal and repellent treatments to provide various biocidal properties of textile materials. By treating textiles with these technologies, we are able to achieve high efficiency at low concentrations.

Hydrophobic, oleophobic treatments

Using hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment technology, we provide textile products with the ability to resist wetting with water, oil or other liquids. During this treatment, the breathability of the textile is maintained. However, the technology does not ensure being waterproof. Waterproofing can be achieved in combination with another coating (see the Application technology).

Non-flammable modifications

Using non-flammable treatment technology, we provide textile materials with increased fire resistance by applying various types of flame retardants. The resistance level is set according to the customer's requirements for each specific material and specific resistance standard.
